25 January is Burns Night in Scotland - celebrating the very famous poet Robbie Burns. Most people will have (or attend) a 'Burns Supper' which consists of haggis, neeps (turnips) 'n tatties (potatoes). Our first year in Scotland Chris had the awesome opportunity to attend a Burns Supper at the pub Robbie Burns frequented when he lived in Dumfries. At a proper Burns Supper the haggis would be piped in and someone would recite 'To a Haggis.'This year we went to our friends Mike and Laura's for a Burns Supper. Chris was the lucky person to get to read the poem and I have a bit of it on video (it was rather long and it's hard to understand what he's saying anyways - the poem is in old Scots).
