Here are just a few photos of the first couple of days Grandma n Grandpa were here. There are lots more photos but they're on dad's camera and I haven't downloaded them yet.
The day mom and dad arrived, dad fell asleep on the couch and was snoring - Ryan was very interested in this new noise and climbed up to take a look.
Grandma n Grandpa were very smart and didn't smother Ryan when they arrived, they hung back and let him warm up to them. It took a couple of days but now he's happy to go to them and is loving the new playmates.
Of course the arrival of Grandma n Grandpa also means the arrival of more presents! Here Ryan is getting a new book - The Wheels on the Bus.
Here Ryan is playing with some new blocks. They're really cool 'peek-a-boo' blocks with different things inside them. They also stack on each other.
As soon as was possible we got both grandparents into the good, bad and the ugly! Best part for us, less nappies to change and we've had a sleep-in morning with another on the way! (Thanks to dad, mom's been a bit of a sleepy-head, but don't tell her I told you!)
On 2 Jan we took a drive around Loch Ness stopping at Urquhart Castle for a walk and then Fort Agustus for a meal. We had beautiful weather, which was fantastic because most days it's been raining for at least part of the day.
This is lunch in Fort Augustus - Ryan is starting to use a spoon (independent little monkey) I have to put stuff on it and he can usually get it into his mouth, quite fun to watch.

Ryan is my favourite grandson (good thing I only have one!)
We are so glad we came for a visit to Scotland again. It has certainly been a great time together. We will really miss all of you as we head home today. Don't grow too fast Ryan! Love you all Mom and Dad
