Grandma, Papa, & Uncle Nathan

Here are a few photos of our time up in Blind River over Christmas. It was a real treat to have Grandma and Papa to play with and read stories to Ryan (a treat for Ryan and for mommy & daddy!).
Papa was practising the song he was going to sing in church and Ryan found it very interesting. He stood in front of him almost the entire time watching and giggling!

We spread out the opening of Ryan's presents so that he wouldn't lose interest and could have time to appreciate gift. We started on the 23rd with a little car and then on Christmas Eve opened the rest - spread throughout the day! (My family tradition is to open presents the evening of Christmas Eve). Here Ryan is opening his gift from Uncle Nathan - mega blocks!

Ryan is destructive rather than constructive: at one point Chris, Nathan and I were all building towers as fast as we could because equally as fast Ryan was coming around destroying them!
Ryan is very good at puzzles and enjoys this animal one from Grandma and Papa.
