Before opening presents Christmas Eve we tried to read the Christmas story together - as you can imagine Ryan's attention span was rather short. So we switched to his Christmas Story book, had him open his presents (by now there were only a couple left to open) and then Ryan went to bed. Following this, the rest of us enjoyed the rest of our evening finishing the Christmas story and opening our presents. 
This is Ryan opening his gift from us: a Little People Noah's Ark - complete with Noah, Mrs. Noah (AKA Joan) and an assortment of animals: one male, one female. He really seemed to enjoy it and has been playing with it lots - though Noah and Joan are by his favourite characters - he loves the people!
