Before Christmas we went to Blind River for a weekend with the purpose to loads of Christmas baking with mom. It was amazing how much we could make in a single day! Below we are icing some shortbread cookies - Ryan lasted for 2 or 3 three cookies and then had had enough.
We discovered that mom and dad have a great hill for sliding - you just have to be careful to turn at the right time so that you don't end up in the lake! Ryan absolutely loved going fast down the hill!

I got to try too - making the turn was a little scary, but we made it!

Looks like a ton of fun -- to think there was more snow before Christmas then on Christmas.
