Turning on of Christmas Lights!

On 23rd November Inverness turned on its' Christmas lights. This is an actual event here, they close off an area at the bottom of the High St. (in front of the Town Hall) and there's a whole ceremony with ooh's and aah's when the lights are turned on. We headed into town on this evening to drink in the atmosphere. We went out for dinner - missing the ceremony, which we've seen before and is very kid oriented; Ryan wouldn't have cared anyways! then walked around and saw the lights.
At dinner (wearing his cool space jammies)Ryan was given a balloon - his first ever - it was fun to watch him trying to grab it, he just couldn[t get a hold of it!

Here Ryan was trying to hold onto it all and was successful. There was no was he was going to let go of the spoon he was playing with and equally he was giving up his bread either. Why he had to do it all with one hand? Who knows, show-off!

The pictures of the Christmas lights outside aren't worth posting, in fact they were so bad I erased them but here's a photo of Ryan in the Eastgate (shopping centre) and the lights they have up there.

There was a band playing in the middle of the High St so we stopped for a wee listen - Ryan seemed to enjoy it! Hope you do too!
