Baptism

Mom and Dad were baptised a few weeks ago at the cottage. It was an awesome service with 5 people from Immanuel being baptised in Lake Duborne followed by a BBQ. Thankfully the weather cooperated - it rained for a few minutes as people were arriving but then quit again. Mom and Dad gave a great testimony and it was super special to see them baptised. The entire family was there including Oma, Aunt Nellie and Uncle John . The following are a few photos to mark the event.
You can see that there were a lot of people there. I don't remember the exact count but I'm pretty sure we were over 100! Below is Ryan mesmerized by Jeff and David who were playing guitar and whistle - maybe he'll be a musician?

Here's goes Dad!
It was neat the way they did it. Both mom and dad went into the water together. Dad was baptized first and then he and the pastor baptized mom - cool eh?
We are so thankful to have Christian parents who have been amazing examples to us.
I hope my kids will be able to say that about me someday.

Aw, that is a really cool way to get baptized.

Your boys are looking cuter by the day Sarah! I hope that the breastfeeding is going better for you. For something so natural it doesn't always come so naturally:)

Keep blogg'n

thanks Sarah for taking the time to share some of your life highlights. You mention how time flies, and so it does when you are raising children, but thanks always for still managing to share great family moments.
I was especially touched by the serenity that the baptism ones portrayed.
PS your kids have always looked great in sunglasses!!!
PSS Keep up the good work Ryan in going potty.
